14 videos by vegan companies in 2025’s first quarter
2024 was a tough year for many businesses, which explains why we didn’t see as many vegan-friendly ads during the Super Bowl. However, vegans dominated award shows thanks to female nominees Mikey Madison, Demi Moore, Ariana Grande, and Cynthia Erivo.
Here’s 2025 Q1’s video list:
“Feel Planty Good” by Silk
Silk partnered with Carter Vail on a series of ads with the slogan “Feel Planty Good.” It’s so catchy, and above is just one example.
“THIS™ Changes Everything” by THIS
So THIS has a new look and new product, so it makes sense they made a new ad. It’s good, but this isn’t my fav by them.
“Kiss From A Lime” by Mountain Dew
This $8m Mountain Dew Super Bowl ad featuring SEAL and Becky G. is officially one of the weirdest ads I’ve ever seen. Will it work? Who knows.
“Safe For Work” by Liquid Death
This one seems really tame by Liquid Death standards, but I love what they put in the YouTube description: “We spent millions of dollars running this commercial just to make you smile. The least you can do is give it a watch and pretend to love it.” Tell is like it is, LD.
“The Call of the Mustaches” by Pringles
As I said last year, I will never buy Pringles but this ode to mustaches from the Super Bowl is pretty damn good.
“RITZ Salty Club” by RITZ
Aubrey Plaza’s back and good thing she’s not on dairy’s side this time. She’s joined by Michael Shannon (a B-list actor) and Bad Bunny in this okay Super Bowl ad. I think RITZ could have been way more creative and spent less on the celeb endorsers.
“Cafe con el Abuelo” by Oatly
An overeager Oatly employee pitched the idea of touring Chicago cafés with his 85-year-old abuelo (grandfather) and reviewing specialty coffee drinks, and this was the result. Not the most compelling video there is, but I think it’s super cute. Makes me wish I could do stuff like this with my dad, who is immobile because of rheumatoid arthritis and Parkinson’s.
“Descubre e.l.f.ecto” by E.L.F. BEAUTY
Just as I was thinking about whatever happened to the soap opera Passions, e.l.f. Cosmetics brought the Latinx drama to advertise its products in SEPHORA Mexico. The Trump administration’s saying DEI’s dead, but this proves otherwise.
“Veganuary 2025 was bigger than ever!” by Veganuary
Veganuary celebrated the most sign-ups for 2025, a “weird” ad campaign that made its way online, new country partners, and lots of celebrity and influencer-endorsed media coverage.
“Liquid Death x NASCAR LD Pro Driver Team Announcement” by Liquid Death
I LOVE this LD ad because it’s not advertising a contest; it celebrates the aftermath of it. NASCAR fans chugged cans of iced tea to be considered for a spot on the Liquid Death Pro Driver Team, and the 3 winners drove around with Liquid Death logos plastered all over their cars.
“Kegs for Pregs” by Liquid Death
The creativity DOES NOT STOP at LD’s office. It partnered with influencer Kylie Kelce—who’s expecting her fourth child—to give birth to LD’s first-ever limited edition 5L Liquid Death Mini Kegs filled with its chuggable still mountain water.
“I’d Never Drink Some Shit Called Liquid Death” by Liquid Death
A good sign you’re ruffling feathers is having haters. As VFC®’s done before them, LD’s done it again with this banger of a country hit featuring Carter Faith.
“The Double Matcha Point” by Oatly
The caption says it all: Oatly invented a coconut matcha latte with a clever name for a pair of twin tennis influencers who were skeptical the entire time about “whatever this is” and left without saying goodbye.
My pick for best video of Q1: “Dairy is Scary” by Viva!
While there were some great ads this Q1, nothing beats a strong vegan message that’s well executed. This ad by Viva! is not just a PSA; it’s emotional, effective, and went live in 300 cinemas across the UK this month. It deserves to be seen on the big screen.

“No Beef” by Field Roast
‘Cause Field Roast‘s #NoBeef campaign deserves a showing.
