This is an archived blog from when I ran Conscious Public Relations Inc. from 2008-2018. Excuse the potential outdated-ness!

I had a good week. A really good week. Started off meeting inspiring entrepreneurs at Spring‘s semi-regular Showcase, which I can’t believe I haven’t been going to on a regular basis. Amazing social ventures coming out of that program, and the event only featured a handful of recent alumni (who hail from around the world!).

I’m continuing to have deep conversations with prospects & colleagues and am loving it. I’m also excited to soon be launching my personal website. It’s going to be rad and I can finally experience what it’s like to have a “personal brand” even though anything we put out on social is reflective of our personal brand.

I had one of the first emotional breakdowns I’ve had in a while over the weekend, as I continued working at my parents’ house. It was the second week in a row there, and among the laundry multi-tasking and tending to my father, I realized that I had pushed a boundary. And I was lucky to have Leo and my sister there to talk to that evening as I had a great self-awareness. I believe that when you push up against your boundary, you realize why it limits you, and the boundary expands even more.

I watched Taryn Brumfitt and the Body Image Movement‘s EMBRACE yesterday, and got $10 to pay it forward. This is a must see for every teen girl and woman out there, or anyone interested in body consciousness. I highly suggest you see it.

Onwards and upwards.
