This is an archived blog from when I ran Conscious Public Relations Inc. from 2008-2018. Excuse the potential outdated-ness!
Dedicated to any human being on the planet who holds space for love in the world.
I heard a great term yesterday at my women’s monthly gathering about how women have “placeholders” for our angry feelings toward others. Not a great place to start this blog, but given the horrific events happening around the world, it can be hard to have and believe in hope.
I have been witness to so many loving acts of kindness this past week. Our chapter of eWomenNetwork awarded $6000 that was raised this past year to Charlford House Society for Women, an amazing local non-profit organization helping women and their children in addiction recovery.
We have engaged with a new partner in Steven Logreira of Deliver Your Content, who is helping me launch my dream of offering an online course to teach individuals how to do PR for themselves, business, or cause.
Our client, KIMBO Design, is donating a significant portion to LivingRoom Community Art Studio, which holds its annual fundraiser to help pay their rent this Thursday in Kim’s hometown of Oshawa, ON.
And Leo and I have received some amazing gifts to help us in preparation for our wedding so that we don’t start our new lives together in debt.
There are people holding space for hope, and you don’t have to look far for these heroes. Each lightworker is a candle among times of darkness. So let’s keep that flame lit brightly in ourselves, and for the world.
Trust that the light always comes.
