Patience and reward
I’ve got some news, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
It goes along with a lot of the personal lessons I’ve been relearning these past few weeks about being patient, trusting that hard work pays off, and accepting rewards when they come. Because sometimes I want the immediate reward, but I think that when it comes when you least expect, it makes the acceptance all that more gratifying.
You’ll learn more about our big news next week, and with the ongoing development of our online courses & programs (which are in beta test mode right now) we’ll have more exciting stuff to roll out in the next month or so.
The way I view my business should be the same way I look at my relationship with Leo. People tell me that “it’s about time” we got married because they got married to their spouses within a year of dating, or perhaps they think we are going to want to have children, so you shouldn’t want to wait nine years to get married if you want to get going on building your family. Whatever their reason, I am 100% content in my relationship with Leo. Marriage is just a bonus.
I am not always 100% content in my business, in fact I’d say the contentment level is under 50% because of how hard I judge myself as an owner and compare our performance to others in our field. So I have to be 100% content first and know that the support, flowing clients, staff, and recognition are an inevitable bonus.
If you’re expecting a reward for your work soon, trust in divine timing and know that’s coming at the right time you need it.
