Looking back at past speaker events and re-learning the wisdom
It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged on Mondays, and it’ll still be awhile until I figure out a consistent topic for Mondays. But I’m still basking in the wisdom that I received at Friday’s DreamTalks, and coincidentally, I’ve had to transfer a note that I kept on my old iPhone to my computer. This is wisdom that I was getting from speaker or networking events since 2011.
It occurred to me that wisdom that I have been hearing recently are not new ideas. Some of these gems and themes I have been hearing since four years ago, but perhaps I didn’t have any lessons to learn at the time. I thought I would give some tribute to the speakers whose words might be resonating with me years later, but that does not mean that the vibration of the words is any less effective. I have learned first-hand that wisdom that was given to me in 2009 (when I first got the idea for Conscious PR) I never listened and acted on until 2-3 years later.
