Energy from others, in words and in food
I was told twice this year that money is a currency of energy. From events that have happened this past week, I think food is a currency of energy as well. After all, if we have too little or too much food, our bodies will know and tell us sooner or later and it becomes a lot more obvious when there is an imbalance of food vs. when there is an imbalance of money.
I have had a few people tell me recently that they like my energy. This is a good thing I suppose, and something I am not intentionally doing. This past week I was given a great abundance of food and drink through lunches or dinners out or casual picnics. I have been very thankful for this food I have been given from others and I believe that this is one source of the good energy that I seem to give off.
I think that it’s important to notice these things because as humans, we cannot see energy. We can only feel it and physical things are signs of good, bad, or neutral energy. If you are being given something repeatedly, it might be a good thing to notice why that is. Or if you are giving away something – it could even be something non-physical, like an activity or work, that is a currency of energy as well.
I believe that all of the food and drink this past week have been gifts from others, perhaps in exchange for some things I have been doing for others. If that’s true, I’ll take it. And I am always up for giving things or time when I can. I think it’s only fair given the privileged life I’ve had to date.
What currencies of energy have you experienced in life lately?
