A 20 minute Skype chat that could change a lot in business
Since joining eWomenNetwork I’ve been having some amazing online chats with members. I had one yesterday with the very amazing Chala Dincoy-Flajnik of CoachTactics, who was able to zero in on a potential issue within 20 minutes of speaking with her. Pretty amazing, eh?
I always thought that having two niches was good enough – a previous sales coach I’d worked with said that you should have no more than 3 niche markets. But when you have multiple services, 2 niche markets x 2 services = 4 potential markets to be swimming around with. And without much staff to service our clients, that becomes four markets too many for me to be in the pool with!
Chala’s advice was to choose the ONE service and ONE market who is in the greatest need of my service, NOW. This makes sense because the faster you can serve, the faster you grow, and while I have never set the goal of being the fastest growing PR company, it would be nice not to have to hunt so hard for clients the whole year round.
I felt a bit overwhelmed at all of the recent advice I was getting from different members, but am grateful that they actually care about the success of my business. That’s the caring community that eWomenNetwork has been able to provide that I’m super grateful for.
