This is an archived blog from when I ran Conscious Public Relations Inc. from 2008-2018. Excuse the potential outdated-ness!

It was epic. I wish you were all there.

I joined 149 other conscious business owners and game changers from Vancouver, across Canada, the USA, and as far as Brazil for the 19th annual Social Venture Institute (SVI) Conference at Hollyhock from September 10-14. I’ve never been so inspired, afraid, and invigorated to help change the world both in business and in how I live.

While there was much traditional learning and peer mentoring going on that might feel similar to other business conferences, there is something about Hollyhock on Cortes Island, the amazing healthy food that was served, and the connection to nature that made it much easier to form and foster relationships that we wouldn’t otherwise.

These are some of the memories I’ll be holding dear. My memories of these five powerful days will be enough to carry me to next year.
