This is an archived blog from when I ran Conscious Public Relations Inc. from 2008-2018. Excuse the potential outdated-ness!
Today I’m going to talk about some stories on green building design, an area I have a fascination with but not very much knowledge about. The first two stories are from GOOD.is.
1) Seattle’s new Bullitt Center
Dubbed possibly the greenest office building ever, the building boasts solar panel power, geothermal wells, and harvested rainwater.

2) The Architizer Awards‘ Sustainability category.
Architizer is hosting the world’s architectural awards program with over 50 categories and 200 jurors. GOOD highlighted some of the projects eligible for the sustainable category here.
3) Biophilic Design at the Projecting Change Film Festival
This year’s Projecting Change Film Festival features Biophilic Design (USA, 2011), a documentary on innovatively designing the places where we live, work, and learn. Followed by TEDx speaker Michael Green from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
Showing Thursday, April 25 at 9pm at the Goldcorp Centre for the Arts at SFU Woodward’s.

4) The house I live in
I’m often asked who designed my sister’s new home, and the answer is One SEED Architecture & Interior Design – check them out!
