This is an archived blog from when I ran Conscious Public Relations Inc. from 2008-2018. Excuse the potential outdated-ness!
Next week is World Water Week, and so I think a post on the phenomena that makes up 75% of the human body deserves a blog prop.
I first became aware of the water crisis when I watched Blue Gold: World Water Wars at the VIFF years ago. My partner will tell you about how much I loathe seeing water bottles in our home, as well as his 20 minute showers.
I signed up awhile back for a Vancouver workshop put on by Waterlution and ProAction Cafe, but was unable to go. They sent a great follow-up e-mail with the event recap, and in celebration of World Water Week next week, are asking people to participate in their Water Sharing Celebration by answering the question: “What’s my role?”
If you are interested in hosting a dialogue about the issue, Waterlution is also offering an “Art of Hosting Dialogues” workshop May 14-16 at the Stillwood Centre. Registration is open until April 5.
I hope you find a way to celebrate and to promote water management next week!
