DailyGood blogged yesterday about a 13 year-old named Felix Finkbeiner who, since the age of 9, has planned to plant a million trees in Germany.
He started an organization called Plant for the Planet as part of a school project. And he’s already achieved his one-million goal in Germany. His next step is to hit other countries. Individuals or planting groups can pledge 1 pound per tree or join Felix in a pledge to plant more trees themselves. All of the results are tracked on plant-for-the-planet.org.
