TANGOTAB
I always thought that if I were a ca-gillionaire I would create a restaurant that gives back to the hungry upon customers purchasing a meal. I don’t know how that model would work, but a company called TangoTab is awfully close to making this happen.
The site serves 9 American cities and shows deals offered by participating restaurants. Beneficiaries include the Northern Illinois Food Bank, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, and SoupMobile. Over 82,000 people have already been helped by the service.

KARMA EXCHANGE
Right here in our own fine city, Shannen O’Brian of Karma Exchange has done something similar with retail companies. Buy from companies you normally would, but proceeds go to O’Brian’s non-profit, Create Change, which links donors and recipients through film. 100% of the proceeds to KarmaExchange go to Create Change.
